After having a low-key day and you know, tea time with the Queen(!), Meghan Markle and her mother Doria Ragland arrived at Cliveden House Hotel where the bride and her mother will spend the night ahead of the royal wedding. Prince Harry is staying with best man Prince William at Dorchester Collection Coworth park hotel near Ascot.

Cliveden House is about a thirty minute drive from away from Windsor Castle and is a five-star luxury country estate with 376 acres of formal gardens. The royal-friendly hotel boasts suites fit for a future duchess like the Lady Astor and Prince of Wales suites each with sweeping views, antiques and original works of art.

Meghan was glowing and Doria looked calm and well-rested on the sunny evening at the hotel estate in Berkshire. Meghan said she was feeling “wonderful” and showed not an ounce of nervousness. At the hotel, Meghan wore a Roland Mouret Barwick dress along with grey suede Manolo Blahnik BB 105 Pumps.

The dress looks very similar to styles we’ve seen Meghan wearing in the past as the bride prefers sheath dresses with cap sleeves and a bit of embellishment here or there. While navy is not a major departure for the former actress, typically she’s worn dark ivy or forrest green for many of her tour stops and royal engagements with Prince Harry.

Recently Meghan wore a blue Stella McCartney cape dress and donned a navy Jason Wu satin wrap dress so this is likely a color we’ll see in her fashion rolodex. Another royal lady who loves shades of blue? The Duchess of Cambridge also has a soft spot for sapphire shades.

The Roland Mouret was a fun choice for the future duchess as the French designer is also a close friend of Meghan’s and rumored to be designing her second wedding dress of the wedding day for the evening reception. We will have to wait and see…
