To think that only in 2015, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had never even laid eyes on each other. What a difference a few years makes! It was the summer of July 2016 that the American and Brit were setup on a blind date. Now only two years later, the royal lovebirds are married and moving to Adelaide Cottage and possibly starting a family in the near future.

But before the splashy royal wedding, the triumphant ‘I do’s’ and the juicy love affair, the newly minted Duchess of Sussex was an actress and regular on social media. In fact, she posted snapshots of her travels, home and friends for the world to see. The 36-year-old snapped many photos of her adventures and daily life including photos of herself lounging around her Toronoto townhouse.

Let’s take a look at Meghan’s casual loungewear style:

Meghan Markle in Toronto with her Dogs

The Duchess was regularly pictured snuggling with her two dogs, Guy and Bogart while enjoying a glass of wine on the sofa in her rental home in Canada. In order to find her Zen, the Duchess would kick back in a pair of distressed denim.

The Duchess loves Mother Denim jeans and specifically their Ankle Fray Love Gun jeans but she also embraces heavily ripped wranglers. Her favorite off-duty pair? She likely owned a pair of Zara distressed denim jeans and wore them in pursuit of couch surfing pre-Harry. For relaxing at home, she also loved baggy, ribbed wrap sweaters which were cozy enough for winter but airy enough for summer.

Meghan Markle in Polka Dot Pajamas/Instagram

For sleepwear, the Duchess was all about fun polka dots. From her bed she took a lazy day Instagram selfie in a bedroom mirror clad in a two-piece speckled pajama set.

Meghan Markle in Bailey Button UGG Boots

The Duchess loves a cozy knit cardigan almost as much as she covets her UGG Bailey Button boots that she wore in March of 2016. The supersoft sheepskin boots were almost certainly loaded with her belongings to London as they’re a necessity in the winter months.

The Duchess of Sussex now frequently wears Givenchy, Dior and Oscar de la Renta, but there was a time when she loved a good bargain and a fun, kitschy tank. The ‘It’s Always Sunny in L.A.’ tank top was from Forever21 and part of a pajama set (ID Meghan Maven). The playful, fun top was a shoutout to her hometown.

With all her travels for her TV show Suits as well as trips to see family and friends, Meghan often spent nights at hotels. For relaxing nights away, she loved a good classic white bathrobe, a book and some La Mer skincare products.

UGG boots aren’t the only casual and super comfortable slipper-style shoe that Meghan owns. In fact, the Duchess is partial to sheepskin footwear in boots and slippers. Meghan wore these Cally faux fur slippers (ID Meghan Maven) in cinnamon suede for playtime with her pups and lounging around her house on the weekends.
