Instead of a private party, the Duchess of Sussex spent her 37th birthday at the wedding of one of Prince Harry’s childhood friends, Charlie van Straubenzee. The wedding between Charlie and Daisy Jenks took place in Surrey on a warm Saturday afternoon.

The romantic wedding was yet another lovefest for the newlyweds who are still basking in the glow of their May 19th nuptials. Prince Harry gazed lovingly at Meghan between his ushering and speech duties as a close friend of the groom.

The English countryside wedding gave Meghan the chance to reconnect with several friends including Celia McCorquodale, whose June wedding she previously attended with Harry in blue and white Oscar de la Renta.

For this occasion, Meghan opted for the Club Monaco Shonah shirtdress with a colorblock pattern featuring white, pink and olive pleated panels. She accessorized with a hat by favorite royal family milliner, Philip Treacy and added her Aquazzura bow pumps along with a Miu Miu knot tie belt. For a little bit of added panache, the duchess selected a black straw clutch from Kayu Anna and Linda Farrow Round Frame Sunglasses.

Meghan went for this Club Monaco black dress with modern colorblocking and a shirtdress topper. As the duchess has grown fond of sleeveless styles and midi length dresses, this ensemble was no surprise. The duchess also wore the Tay velvet dress by the brand to Christmas with the royal family and opted for a Club Monaco red and white floral dress for a Suits press event.

To accent her waist and add a bit of modern glam, Meghan opted for a Miu Miu knot tie belt. The belt is edgy enough for nighttime but still sleek enough for daytime. The belt helps to accent Meghan’s waist and gives the floaty and girly dress a bit of a rugged rocker vibe. The black belt is fast becoming a staple in Meghan’s royal wardrobe but this leather style is a fun, modern choice.

The brand says of Meghan’s belt, “it looks cool layered over blouses or blazers, but will instantly define the narrowest part of your waist, too. It has been made in Italy from supple leather and has a long, slim silhouette that can be wrapped around twice or left to drape along the side.”

Meghan also added a black straw fascinator by one of Kate Middleton’s favorite hatmakers, Philip Treacy.

And the duchess opted for her Aquazzura Deneuve Bow Pumps.

Meghan selected California-cool-girl sunglasses for the warm English weather and opted for another straw clutch (she carried a J.Crew straw clutch recently) for the afternoon wedding ceremony.

The duchess also wore Linda Farrow 512 C3 Oval Sunglasses (Sold Out)

In addition, the duchess carried the Kayu Anna Straw Clutch ($225) and wore the Vanessa Tugendhaft Parisienne Carrousel Earrings.

The duchess wore the Shaun Leane Signature Tusk Bracelet in Gold.

Meghan’s dress caused a bit of stir as her lace undergarments peeked out of the multi-colored dress. Meghan’s Maven theorized that the camisole could be from the brand CAMI NYC as seen on the duchess in September of 2014.
