For this outing, Meghan went for a dressed down and easygoing style. The look might be one of her least expensive and most casual styles since becoming a royal. The Duchess honored her best friend with a sartorial salute and selected a Serena Williams Boss oversized blazer. The oversized blazer features a notched collar and patch pockets in a plaid print.

As an additional note, Meghan generously baked banana bread the night before the engagement. The homemade treat reportedly had a hint of ginger according to one royal reporter.

And Benita Woodley, one of the bread’s recipients, said of Meghan: “She said if you go to someone’s house you always bring something, so she did. “She said she was worried about the bananas, that she’d put too many bananas in it. But the Duke said there’s never too many bananas.” Meghan’s bread was served with Fortnum and Mason Royal Blend Tea.
