The Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge were a matching royal duo in berry colored ensembles for their unannounced appearances on a sunny but chilly day in London. Likely inspired by the holidays and cooler temperatures, both women opted for strikingly similar ensembles. Indeed, their twinning ensembles consisted of burgundy dresses, black tights, ponytails and minimal accessories. In fact, the only major differences were that Kate added a black ribbon to her hairstyle and Meghan wore booties instead of block heel pumps.

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for the day in a recycled double breasted blazer and skirt by Paule Ka for a visit to the Psychology and Language Sciences Division of UCL. The thrifty duchess has had the ensemble for six years and has worn the look on two previous occasions.

In addition to her fall-festive skirt suit in a wine color, the duchess opted for her Tod’s black suede block heel pumps. The shoe’s feature a pebbled traction grip so there’s no risk of taking a tumble during the colder months. Shop a similar style from Kate-approved brand L.K. Bennett HERE

The emotional visit was marked with hugs, giggles and warm greetings between Meghan and the women of the North Kensington kitchen.

The Duchess of Sussex’s charity cookbook project with the women of Hubb has been a huge success with the 50-recipe tome becoming a bestseller.
