For this occasion, Kate opted for a decidedly laidback and casual ensemble. Like many of her previous outdoor outings, she went for a neutral color palette with a tweed jacket and combat boots with jeggings. The style is a bit different for the mom of three who often opts for cargos in lieu of skinny pants and frequently wears tassel knee-high boots.

During the visit, the duchess socialized with children, made pizza, fielded questions about the Queen and met with volunteers and residents of the community-maintained garden. The duchess even admitted to a preference for bacon on her pizza.

For the great outdoors, Kate selected an outfit that was rugged and regal. Kate opted for a tweed jacket by Dubarry, a sweater by J. Crew and boots by See by Chloe. Plus, a little razzle dazzle in the way of diamond leaf drop earrings from Kiki McDonough inspired by British ballerina Lauren Cuthbertson.
