The Duchess of Sussex made a splash–literally–as she battled rainy skies and wet weather for her visit to the Mayhew. The visit marks the first official patronage outing for the duchess to the animal rescue center and veterinary clinic. On the outing, the duchess was able to meet and mingle with an assortment of furry friends and even met dog Maggie (formerly known as Truffle) with its owner Emma.

Meghan also socialized with a few other pups who were rescued with the help of the Mayhew’s animal welfare services.

For the outing, Meghan wore a cream colored Emporio Armani jacket that she wore previously with Prince Harry for a visit to Sussex on a royal engagement.

And the duchess went for an affordable MAMA knit beige melange dress from the maternity collection at H&M and kept true to the beige color palette.

In addition, Meghan carried a British brand in the way of handbags and opted for the Falabella Reversible Shaggy Deer tote by Stella McCartney. The duchess was seen with the medium beige tote bag featuring a logo-print canvas and faux-leather. The bag also has comes with a signature whipstitching and curb-chain trim.
