The Duchess of Sussex stepped out in New York City from the five star Mark hotel to make a lunch date with longtime friend Abigail Spencer. The soap actress and Mad Men star was wearing a red dress and was seen visiting the duchess carrying a gift bag from Book Culture wrapped in blue and green. The twosome later left lunch together side by side. Following her departure from the hotel, Meghan was seen being flanked by security, hotel personnel and protection officers dressed in streetwear.
For the outing, Meghan opted for a city chic ensemble of all black accented by a nude handbag and taupe colored shoes.
Specifically, Meghan opted for Hatch Nearly Skinny Maternity jeans. Meghan previously wore a Hatch Eliza black stretch knit dress for a visit to Smart Works.
Meghan’s black trapeze jacket is by William Vintage. For sunglasses, Meghan opted for Le Specs Air Heart 51 mm sunglasses. The shades also happen to be a favorite of good friend Olivia Palermo.
Meghan carried a new tote bag by Carolina Herrera. She opted for the Matryoshka Locked L shopping bag in the shade trench/white.
For accessories, Meghan added her ‘Love’ ring by Solange Azagury.
And matched her ring to her earrings and wore her Pippa Small Herkimer earrings.
For shoes, she stuck to an old favorite: Stuart Weitzman heels.
Later in the day Meghan was seen at the luxurious Surrey Hotel on the Upper East Side where Meghan and her friends likely enjoyed the French fare at Cafe Boulud.
The duchess was seen cradling her baby bump throughout the day and looked relaxed and happy to be enjoying some urban adventures with friends.
Later in the day, Meghan was seen heading out on the town with pals Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney and Markus Anderson. Meghan recycled the Victoria Beckham coat she wore at Christmas with the royal family.
The duchess added a new handbag to her ensemble from Stella McCartney called the Falabella Fine Chain Mini Tote.
