The Duchess of Cambridge has had a busy summer thus far and has attended back to back celebrations in recent weeks. From Trooping the Colour to a trip to Cumbria and now Order of the Garter and Royal Ascot, the duchess has had a packed social calendar as of late. And while Kate always manages to look impeccable, her style at Royal Ascot his year was particularly glamorous.

Opting for an ethereal powder blue dress by Ellie Saab–Kate was ready to show off her sartorial skills for the day of horse racing. And the look was a significant departure for Kate who often wears British designers and favors Alexander McQueen for dressy occasions. Indeed, this was the mom of three’s first time wearing the Lebanese designer known for his celebrity gowns and bridal styles. The look featured a pussy bow neckline with a sheer polka dot overlay and macrame lace across the décolletage. The tulle dress is part of Ellie Saab’s 2019 Resort Collection (thanks to Japanese Ginger).

Kate opted for a hat by favorite milliner Philip Treacy.

She also accessorized with metallic pumps by Gianvito Rossi called the ‘105 metallic leather pumps.’

And she added an Ellie Saab Metallic and leather clutch bag.

The duchess finished the look with earrings by Kiki McDonough called the blue topaz and diamond drop earrings.
