Birthday balloons at Balmoral Castle? Yes, that’s right–the Duchess of Sussex will be given a 38th birthday celebration to remember as she joins the Queen and Prince Philip for a terrifically tartan affair. The summer holiday is reportedly the first official trip for baby Archie and mom Meghan while Prince Harry has been a long time visitor.

The castle which appears to be “frozen in time” is not only one of the Queen’s favorite homes but most beloved escapes from the hustle and bustle of London life. The British monarch typically vacations at the Scottish highland hideaway from June until late September when she returns to Buckingham Palace.

The Sun reports that the invite is a “huge honor” and that the duchess will likely experience all the trimmings of a royal birthday including catering, a baked cake and afternoon tea with Her Majesty (affectionally known as ‘Gran’ within the family). The Sussex trio will also have their own private wing at the estate during their stay.

In addition to their Scottish excursion, Us Weekly reports that little Archie will need larger luggage for his first trip to the United States to visit his grandmother Doria Ragland. Before the end of the year, the Sussex fam is expected to touchdown on American soil.

What can Meghan expect to do when she’s not having crumpets and finger sandwiches with the 93-year-old? Long walks, barbecues, fishing and even hunting could be on the agenda. Harry reportedly wants his son to grow up like he did and enjoy the great outdoors. The Queen also enjoys horseback rides as well as driving in her Range Rover over the rugged terrain so perhaps she will let Meghan ride shotgun as she did with Duchess Kate?

During their visit, Meghan can take a break from the family with an escape to the well-stocked library or take a walk around the gardens of the beautiful estate.
