The Duchess of Sussex looked to be in high spirits as she picked up longtime friend Heather Dorak at the Victoria International Airport on Thursday. Driving herself, the California born royal was seen with accompanying security in a Land Rover Discovery.

Heather was pictured arriving after the long trek from her home in Los Angeles.

The mom of one was outfitted in one of her favorite jackets from her days in Toronto–her Soia & Kyo Saundra down coat. The mid-length coat has a slight A-line cut, a dramatic face-framing hood lined with Sherpa, removable fur, and luxe leather trim. The classic down shell is water-repellent and water-resistant to ensure comfort and dryness during harsh weather, while the signature stretch printed lining provides extra comfort. In addition, Meghan was spotted in her famous Le Specs Bandwagon sunglasses which she’s worn on multiple occasions including to her wedding rehearsal with then future husband Prince Harry.

The sleek sunnies feature black and brown tortoiseshell frames with a slender design and rounded lenses. Providing 100% UV protection, the glasses are perfect for everyday wear.

And braving the Canadian cold without a hat would not be ideal so Meghan wisely chose her beloved Hat Attack cashmere beanie which she has worn since she began her romance with the British prince.

Believed to be having a fun girls weekend with pal Heather who is the founder of Pilates Platinum–the two are likely to have fun working out, sharing stories and discussing their children (Heather has two boys). Plus, there may be wine or sushi involved!
