Country chic! The Duchess of Cambridge looked relaxed and upbeat in Northern Ireland today as she had a surprise engagement on a farm in Newtownards. While meeting with locals, children and lots of farm animals (as well as a snake)–the duchess took the outing in stride and was more than happy to mix and mingle with the menagerie at Ark Open Farm.

After meeting an alpaca, feeding a lamb and holding a snake, the mom of three spoke with parents and children who were visiting the family-friendly farm.

For the outing to promote her 5 Big Questions campaign, the duchess wore her Barbour Defence Jacket which she has donned for strolls through Kensington gardens as well walks with Prince George. She has been spotted in the style since March 2012.

At the farm, Kate wore the military inspired olive green waxed jacket which features front pocket styling and a waxed cotton exterior to shield from the elements. The side button tabs provide a feminine fit. A new version of Kate’s jacket is available for pre-order HERE

For a sweater, the duchess wore a cornflower cashmere roll neck sweater from John Lewis. (ID Kate’s Royal Closet)

Kate also wore her Penelope Chilvers Long Tassel Boots.

She also wore her Seeland Hawker Olive Quilt jacket as a layering piece. Kate was first spotted in the jacket on George and Charlotte’s school run in January 2020.

Kate also wore new gold leaf earrings from Catherine Zoraida. Similar HERE

Later, the Duchess stopped by a social cafe in Aberdeen. For the visit, she changed into her grey wool Reiss ‘Delaney’ coat. Kate last donned the style in December 2013.
