While most of Meghan Markle’s fashions are quickly identified–perhaps one of her most beautiful gowns remained a mystery until recently. The Duchess of Sussex wore a baby blue crepe gown by friend and French fashion designer Roland Mouret for engagement pictures with her future husband, Prince Harry. The picture was spotted by fans at Buckingham Palace in the Queen’s private audience room.

Social media users also found an unreleased picture of the Duke and Duchess together presumably taken by their wedding photographer Alexi Lubomirski.

Meghan’s dress features the folding and sculptural silhouette that are defining features of Roland Mouret’s pieces. The ‘Lockton’ is made from pale blue wool-crepe, and is thoughtfully fitted with a supportive internal corset cut to hug curves and gently flares out at the hem. The asymmetric neckline adds interest to the glamorous evening gown. Find the style in vivid orange HERE
