Kate’s iconic bridal look consisted of a satin bodice dress with lace sleeves and a dramatic ivory tulle veil with hand-embroidered flowers. The Victorian style dress was a timeless piece and showcased designer Sarah Burton’s talent for classic design while emphasizing her craftsmanship and dedication to high fashion.

The pair were surrounded by friends and family on their big day including bridesmaids Lady Louise Windsor (daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex), Eliza Lopes (granddaughter of the Duchess of Cornwall) as well as Lady Margarita (the daughter of the Earl and Countess of Snowdon).

The day before the wedding the duchess was spotted at the Goring Hotel along with her mother Carole Middleton and sister Pippa. The family stayed together at the top floor in the Royal Apartment costing a little more than $6000 a night. For the eve of her wedding, Kate donned an Issa Bird Print button up skort dress, a BCBG ruffle jacket and L.K. Bennett wedges.

For their engagement announcement, Kate also wore an Issa dress. She wore a blue Issa Phylis Wrap dress. The dress was a popular choice in the Middleton family as sister Pippa was later spotted in the pink version of the flattering wrap dress.
