The Duchess of Sussex had a very busy year–the mom of one finished her work as a Senior Royal in March and with her family moved from Frogmore Cottage to the shores of Vancouver Island and then to a temporary home in Los Angeles followed by a final move to Montecito. The Sussexes secured a multi-million dollar Netflix deal and signed on for a Spotify podcast series plus Meghan invested in a latte company startup. While Mr. and Mrs. Mountbatten-Windsor had a very successful year professionally — the couple also experienced the heartache of a personal tragedy — the loss of a baby. In addition, the family faced the stress of a privacy lawsuit against the media and the turmoil of trial. Still, through it all — Harry and Meghan managed to make many uplifting and inspiring Zoom calls and even managed to venture out for charity work and volunteering.
