When the Duchess of Sussex took Oprah on a tour of the backyard she shares with Prince Harry, baby Archie and mother Doria Ragland (who stays on occasion)  — she was quick to highlight the joys of their new laidback lifestyle in California. With a coop full of rescue chickens and a playground and pool (not seen in the interview) — the family of three (soon to be four) have plenty of places to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Perhaps the highlight of the serene lawn look-see was Meghan’s down-to-earth ensemble. Outfitted in a lightweight JCrew jacket in dark moss plus stretchy maternity jeans and a long white button down shirt — the duchess looked every bit the picture of domestic bliss.

For the visit with the Queen of daytime talk — Meghan wore the Perfect Lightweight jacket from American retailer J.Crew. With water-resistant fabric, a fishtail hem for extra coverage (and splash protection), a flattering elastic bungee at the waist and a cute (and practical) hood, the stylish coat is ideal for the California climate.

Meghan’s cargo style jacket has another fan in the royal sphere: Duchess Kate’s younger sister Pippa Middleton. The author and new mom of baby girl Grace Elizabeth, owns the rain jacket in navy. Pippa was seen riding her bike in the casual drawstring jacket in October 2019.

In addition to her Perfect Lightweight jacket from J.Crew — Meghan owns the brand’s Field Mechanic Jacket, Juliette Collarless Blazer and Chateau Wool Blend Parka in the shade dark walnut.
