As a member of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex has worn a variety of glamorous gowns, breezy linen dresses and plenty of pleated skirts — she’s also favored a good turtleneck sweater. From her black turtleneck bodysuits to brown high neck wool sweaters and even soft white Calvin Klein turtleneck bodycon dresses — the duchess has mastered the art of collar covering clothing. And Meghan’s fondness for the classic wintertime staple was apparent at one of her first engagements alongside husband Harry — the brunette beauty opted for an ALLSAINTS Ridley Chalk White Jumper.

Featuring a wool and cashmere blend with a funnel neckline and fitted sleeves — not unlike a Dolman style– the casual ivory sweater was the perfect choice for a daytime engagement in Birmingham for a celebration of International Women’s Day.

Meghan looked at ease during a walkabout wearing the oversized knit while greeting well-wishers in England’s West Midlands region. She and Harry also enjoyed spending time with school students and even spent time testing virtual reality gadgets and observing computer programs during their daytime events. Later, they made a visit to Coach Core.

While Meghan showed off the merits of her slouchy sweater in the UK–it’s believed the duchess also opted to wear the jumper for the Sussex family Christmas card in 2019. Though the couple and their young son Archie appear in black and white–Meghan’s funnel style sweater is on full display with the sleeves rolled up as she did in England.
