The Duchess of Cambridge brought back an 80s fashion revival when she joined Prince William in Scotland for a four-day tour. Undoubtedly the trip is a bit nostalgic for the pair who met when they were both students at the University of St. Andrews which is located in Fife, Scotland.

For the first visit at a violence reduction unit near Edinburgh, Kate opted for a cobalt blue blazer from Zara. The tailored double-breasted blazer has a peaked lapel collar and front flap pockets.

Kate also wore a Hope Contrast Pleat Skirt in Cobalt.

The duchess carried her Metier Roma bag — the small tan shoulder bag is crafted in Italy from supple suede material and features a gold twist lock clasp.

The Countess of Strathearn as she’s known on Scottish soil wore Gianvito Rossi 85 pumps in brown suede (similar HERE).

Kate also debuted Hamilton & Inches flora drop earrings. Find earring dupes HERE

She also wore her Spells of Love Double Strand Beaded Satellite Chain Necklace.

The duchess finished the look with an Amaia Cotton Face Mask in blue phoebe.

Not only was Kate paying homage to Scotland with her saltire blue outfit (the colors of the Scottish flag) but many media outlets also noticed Kate’s pleated skirt and blazer bore a striking resemblance to an outfit worn by the late Princess Diana.
