While the Duchess of Cambridge loves suede pumps, strappy platform heels and court shoes in an array of neutral colors — the 30-something royal and busy mom of three also covets a good sneaker. While Kate has branched out of her comfort zone as of late — wearing Veja metallic logo sneaks and Aquazzura bow pumps — she’s always remained steadfastly loyal to Superga. Kate loves the cotton canvas sneakers with a cushioned footbed and natural rubber outsole providing just enough traction and durability for royal engagements in rainy gardens, treehouses or even on yachts. And while Kate has donned her favorite lightweight cotton Supergas in white since the Royal Tour of Canada in 2016 — it was only in 2019 that the duchess opted for a pair of Cotu trainers in a green shade called ‘sherwood gum.’

Since a summer appearance in the shoes two years ago–Kate has worn the classic Superga 2750s to a garden centre and the Chelsea Flower show. Kate’s country chic green sneakers can easily be paired with skinny jeans, shorts and even casual dresses. The earthy green athletic shoes are harder to find than the traditional white lace ups — but now they’re back in stock!
