The Duchess of Cambridge spent time in the Great Outdoors during her latest engagement with a group of Air Cadets. Kate spent time exploring the terrain on bicycle, boat and rope when she tried rappelling off rocks at the Windermere Lake District.

The Duchess of Cambridge explored the lake with air cadets before meeting Windermere children and Holocaust survivors. The royal took a boat trip on Lake Windermere with two of the “Windermere Children”, a group of 300 child Holocaust survivors who came to stay in the Lake District in 1945 for a period of recuperation following what they experienced in concentration camps.

For the day of recreation, Kate opted for a Really Wild Clothing belted jacket, Liv Thurlwell bobble hoops and her favorite Chloe combat boots. Kate also donned her Seeland Hawker puffer coat (worn previously on two engagements and a school run).

The brunette Brit opted for a new Really Wild Clothing plaid belted jacket.

And she accessorized her outdoorsy outfit with Liv Thurwell bobble earrings.

It’s believed Kate’s knitted sweater is possibly from Boden — the cashmere knitted top in smoky quartz (ID Middleton Maven).
