Doting dad Prince Harry looked positively giddy when holding his son Archie Harrison in a newly released photo shared by the Sussexes on their Instagram account. The special New Year’s photo quickly went viral and was enormously popular with fans who remarked how much the tiny tot resembles his mother. As royal watchers around the world rejoiced at the cuteness captured on Vancouver Island, the ‘Archie Effect’ took hold in a big way. In addition, Archie’s Boden coat called the Sprout Dog Cord Jacket in butterscotch brown was an instant sell-out. The fully lined jacket featuring button fastenings and a jersey lining with blue and white stripes was the perfect coat for Archie to brave the Canadian cold. The cute appliqué detailing was inspired by Boden’s founder’s dog, Sprout and the toddler topper also comes padded for additional warmth.

Harry and Meghan gave another subtle shout out to their friends in Aussieland as they outfitted Archie in his cozy Ugg ‘Erin’ booties which were a gift from retired Australian Army Officer Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife. The couple also received a stuffed kangaroo from the former Governor-General.

Even though Archie and his mom seem to share adorable smiles and perfect cheeks, one commenter on Instagram noted that Archie’s eyebrows look quite light and the tiny tyke could end up being a handsome redheaded royal just like his father!
