Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge first wore her ‘Corkswoon’ wedges by Stuart Weitzman in July 2012 when the Olympic Torch relay passed via Buckingham Palace. The Duchess of Cambridge wore the classic wedges often throughout the London Olympics and more than a dozen times since 2012.
The navy suede Corkswoon’s worn by Kate, featured a 4.5 inch platform cork wedge heel. Stuart Weitzman’s classic ‘Corkswoon’ wedge has been updated slightly and is called the ‘York’ Wedge Pump. The platform cork wedge heel on the ‘York’ is 3.25 inches. The ‘Corkswoon’ is no longer available.
