The Duchess of Sussex has had a jam packed schedule of engagements since arriving in South Africa. The couple’s Instagram account has offered a glimpse into Meghan’s private meetings including a visit with women’s rights activists in Cape Town. While Prince Harry traveled to Angola and Botswana, Meghan met with a group she invited to join her at the residence of the British High Commissioner.
The esteemed group included: Lindiwe Mazibuko, Sonja De Bruyn Sebotsa, Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, Sophia Williams-De Bruyn, Mbali Ntuli, Nompendulo Mkhatshwa, Siviwe Gwarube, Dr Mamphela Ramphele and Judy Sikuza.
For this special occasion, Meghan opted for a stripped knitted midi skirt by J.Crew. The ivory and black knitted skirt features contrasting stripes to create the illusion of playful pleats. In addition, the skirt has an elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit and A-line shape that flares out at the midi hem. The monochrome palette means it has an endless amount of styling options. Meghan paired the sophisticated skirt with a black boyfriend tank from friend Misha Nonoo’s clothing line. The Misha Nonoo Black Boyfriend Tank 2.0 features the signature MN embroidery logo at the back neck in contrast stitching. (ID @whatmegwore).
It’s believed Meghan finished the look with her Manolo Blahnik BB pumps.
