Throughout the year, the Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge are inclined to wear pretty bow pumps, lace-up espadrilles and a variety of heels ranging from slinky stilletos to block heel pumps–but when winter arrives these lovely ladies change their footwear from princess to practical. Here we take a look at some of their best snowy shoe moments for a little style inspo this season.
Here are Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s Best Snow Boot Moments:
Duchess of Sussex
- Kamik Sienna Boots
A longtime fan of these versatile quilted snow boots, Meghan was seen in Toronto with mom Doria Ragland sporting the water-resistant rubber Kamik Sienna style for a trip to yoga class and errands about town.
2. Coach Riding Boots
When she wasn’t wearing her favorite ‘duck’ boots, Meghan was off urban hopping in a pair of designer riding boots. Pre-duchess life, the actress opted for edgy Coach tall leather black boots with 1/4″ stacked heel.
3. Hunter Rain Boots
Rather than make her way around London in sneakers, the Frogmore fashionista opted for waterproof tall rain boots from Hunter. The stylish wellies are not only durable but comfortable.
4. Muck Boots
Far from being too posh to play in the mud, Meghan looked at ease for some fun abroad in New Zealand with Prince Harry as they competed in some outdoor competitions in the rain. For the occasion, Meghan wore her Muck ‘Reign’ boots to get in the spirit of all things wet and wild.
Duchess of Cambridge
- Sorel Torino Boots
For their first day on tour, Kate and William played a little hockey in Stockholm, Sweden and joked around with locals and players and each scored their own goal! For the wintery outing, Kate opted for black tonal Sorel Torino leather and suede boots.
2. Mukluk Boots
While on vacation in the Swiss Alps to attend a wedding with Prince William, the mom-to-be took a walk in the snow in March 2013 wearing a pair of cozy Mukluk snow boots.
3. Sorel Pac2 Boots
In the French Alps, Kate and William had some family fun as they played in the snow during a ski holiday with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. To contend with the cold weather, Kate wore a pair of Sorel 1964 Pac2 snow boots.
