The Duchess of Sussex looked relaxed and in high spirits for a video call from Los Angeles. Displaying a California glow and a bit of a suntan, the mom of one coached a young interviewee via video link for her role as Smart Works patron. The duchess spoke with the British job seeker virtually from her home in LA in late March to offer words of advice and encouragement ahead of a job interview. In a video clip released on the charity’s Instagram page, the Duchess of Sussex says, “I think you’re going to be fantastic.” She also says, “I just wanted to be able to call in and tell you best of luck, and my fingers are crossed for you.”
Showing her support for her patronage Smart Works, Meghan was chatty and charming during a digital session with the aspiring psychologist.
For the video chat, the duchess wore her Joseph Cashair Sweater in garnet. She previously donned the featherweight cashmere sweater for a roundtable discussion with Prince Harry in October 2019.
Meghan also wore a new necklace from Edge of Ember. The Sussex matriarch wore the brand’s Visionary Charm Necklace. The Visionary Necklace bears a blue topaz evil eye to protects its wearer from negative vibes. It’s designed with 18k gold plated sterling silver and made of gold vermeil with blue and topaz stones. The piece is inspired by vintage coins found in Asia which are modern-day talismans and carry icons of good fortune.
