The Princess of Wales looked elegant in an Emilia Wickstead ‘Jorgie’ ruched crepe dress in black. The royal was last seen in the crepe midi dress for a reception prior to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
At the time, Her Royal Highness accessorized her somber and sophisticated black dress with the Queen’s three-strand pearl necklace. For the September 2022 gathering, she also wore the late monarch’s pearl and diamond stud ‘Jubilee’ earrings and Princess Diana’s Nigel Milne 3-strand pearl bracelet.
For this year’s Remembrance ceremony, the princess donned the queen’s Bahrain Pearl Drop earrings — the earrings were a gift to the queen as a wedding present in 1947. Princess Kate has worn the diamond drop earrings on around 10 occasions since 2016 when she debuted the pair for Remembrance Sunday in 2016.
Since then, she’s worn the Bahrain drops for special occasions like Royal Ascot 2017 and Trooping the Color in 2019. She also wore them for Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral on the 19th of September last year.
Princess Catherine also wore a new brooch identified as the Queen’s Dragoon Guards brooch, which was made in 1959 for the Queen Mother. The brooch was presented to the princess during her visit this week to meet with the Queen’s Dragoon Guards in Norfolk.
In addition, Princess Kate carried her Stuart Weitzman clutch in black suede.
The ‘Muse’ clutch has been in Kate’s wardrobe since November 2011 when she first wore it to Remembrance services. She has carried the flap closure bag on royal duty at least 10 times.
UPDATED The princess completed the ensemble with her new favorite shoe and a recent beloved footwear label. She stepped out in Aquzzura Purist 105 pumps in black suede.
