As Patron of Evelina London Children’s Hospital, the Princess of Wales was tasked with officially opening the Children’s Day Surgery Unit. The new facility will transform care for children and young people who need operations by providing surgical and medical care all in one place.
For today’s outing, the princess wore a blue Alexander McQueen peak shoulder leaf jacket. The princess already owns the trouser suit in a number of color combinations including eggplant purple, petal pink and candy apple red.
The single breasted jacket features peak lapels, flap pockets and a single button fastening.
The princess paired the new suit with an old favorite — her Jigsaw cloud cashmere blue jumper. Last seen in Canada, the crewneck has a semi-sheer fabric and is constructed with ottoman stitch cuffs.
Kate paired her workwear style with her Anderson’s croc belt.
For jewelry she donned her sapphire diamond earrings and necklace set.
The princess also wore her navy Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps with the sophisticated suit.
