Looking radiant in the color of royalty — purple, Kate appeared in high spirits despite her recent health challenges. Receiving fanfare upon arrival, the princess was met with a standing ovation when she made her way to the Royal Box on centre court.

For the star-studded tennis tournament which has been attended this year by celebrities like Tom Cruise, Zendaya and Hugh Grant, Kate opted for a new dress. The princess was clad in a Safiyaa dress called the Cecilia.

The lilac midi has an A-line silhouette with a twist bodice and structured sleeves.

Designed in heavy crepe, the made-to-order dress is part of a collection of lilac dresses from the London based brand founded by Daniela Karnuts. Kate appeared to modify the bust of the dress for more modesty and created a higher neckline sans v-neck.

The elegant midi bears a  resemblance to Kate’s green Roland Mouret dress worn in July 2023 which featured a similar drape detail on the bodice.

Kate did not deviate from her usual on-theme dressing and wore the official colors of the AELTC (All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club — purple and green.) The princess incorporated the colors of Wimbledon by wearing a bow ribbon typically reserved for high ranking female members of the tennis organization (men don multi-colored ties).

The princess has worn the ribbon since 2017 and has paired the pin with looks like her blue and white Alessandra Rich pleated polka dress, Emilia Wickstead Jordin seescuker powder blue midi and yellow Dolce and Gabbana Flutter Sleeve sheath.

The royal mom of three added familiar accessories to her Wimbledon style — she carried her LK Bennett Milly nude trench leather mini handheld handbag.

Designed in Spain from nappa leather, the ladylike 60s inspired bag features a gold-tone metal lock and brogue detailing on the front flap.

Kate paired the grab handle bag with her Camilla Elphick Lucia Slingback pumps in tan.

The $300 natural beige leather shoes have a pointed toe and angular kitten heel. Finished with a pretty pearl buckle, the neutral pumps have been worn by the princess on just one previous occasion (to a charity polo match in July 2023).

The princess also wore two Halcyon Days Torque bracelets–she donned the twisted metal bangle in pastel purple (forget-me-not) and a new hammered bracelet in the same shade. Thought to be a tribute to Princess Diana (whose favorite flower was the forget-me-not in sky blue), Kate loves wearing the art deco cuffs for tennis.

In addition, the royal sported new By Pariah Sabine medium 14 karat gold vermeil hoop earrings. The classic shine earrings are loved by celebrities like Hailey Bieber.

Kate’s new chunky statement earrings are handmade and have a high gloss finish. The sculptural earrings are crafted from recycled sterling silver.

The princess finished her courtside chic ensemble with her Victoria Beckham sunglasses (VB644S 001).

The softly shaped square frames have tinted lenses with  category-3 protection against harmful UV rays.

Pippa Middleton also appeared alongside her sister wearing a Beulah Teaberry Sailee floral print silk dress. The cookbook author was also carrying an Emmy London clutch in a misty rose suede. She previously wore the printed dress to brother James Middleton’s wedding in 2021 in France.

Both princesses seemed to enjoy the fun outing and exchanged giggles and gossip throughout the match. Auntie Pippa was also seen chatting and laughing with her adorable niece (both ladies were twinning and styled their hair with similar partial updos).
