The Prince and Princess of Wales made their traditional outing ahead of St. David’s Day to their namesake — the couple visited Pontypridd Market in South Wales.

The royal couple met with those affected by severe flooding in the region and also chatted with local shop owners. Kate and William even took part in kneading dough and preparing traditional Welsh cakes at a local bakery.

For the outing, the princess recycled her Alexander McQueen double-breasted long wool coat in red.

She’s previously worn the maxi coat on four other occasions since its debut in October 2020.

Later, the princess surprised and delighted royal watchers when she opted for a decades old recycled jacket from her pre-marriage days. The British beauty wore her 18-year-old Ralph Lauren Cropped Wool Jacket in Brown (similar) for a visit to the Meadow Street Community Garden. Previously, she donned the equestrian jacket with the matching skirt at the Cheltenham Horse Racing Festival on March 13, 2007.

To add a bit of luxe to the ensemble, the mom of three wore her designer skirt from Gucci. The princess opted for her brown pleated wool checked midi skirt from the Italian luxury brand. Shop a look for less skirt HERE

The princess also carried a new Mulberry Bayswater bag in the shade oak for her arrival and departure in South Wales.

Sleek and sophisticated, the suede lined bag boasts a structured shape with a richly pebbled exterior, slender straps and the brand’s iconic postman’s lock. Perfect for carrying a laptop or notebook, the bag is lined with suede and features one interior flap pocket.

The princess finished her elegant ensemble with her trusty Gianvito Rossi block heel boots in brown suede. A custom pair based on the brand’s ‘Glen’ knee-high design, the tall boots are made in Italy and have a 3.3 inch heel.

For accessories, the princess wore her Spells of Love Removable Teardrop Garnet Charm Hoop Earrings.

Finally, Kate finished the outfit with a daffodil pin in honor of St. David’s Day. The daffodil is the national flower of Wales and is traditionally worn on St David’s Day and pays tribute to the Wales’ patron saint, David on March 1st.
