The Princess of Wales shared a powerful message of hope by releasing a new photograph of herself on social media.
In recognition of World Cancer Day, the princess shared a snap of herself dressed casually while spending time in the forest. Taken by Prince Louis near their family home in Windsor, the mom of three was outfitted in a long green winter jacket and brown riding boots.
For the picture, Kate donned her green ‘Elife’ jacket from Barbour.
Hailing from the Barbour by ALEXACHUNG collection, the Elfie is a contemporary twist on iconic Barbour designs. Styled to look like a hybrid between a trench and long rain coat, the casual country jacket is cut to an oversized fit from a garment-dyed stretch cotton fabric.
In addition, the Elfie canvas coat boasts a lay-flat collar with a detachable trim, buttoned cuffs, flap patch pockets and tonal embroidery on the upper back.
The princess was spotted wearing the rain-friendly coat for Prince George’s football match in September 2023 where she paired the coat with long bootcut jeans and a pair of On the Roger Advantage Lifestyle Sneakers in white.

She paired her long raincoat with her Penelope Chilvers Conker Long Tassel Riding Boots. Featuring a 1 inch heel, the lug sole boots are made in Spain and boast a swingy tassel on the zipper and a scalloped fan at the topline.
Boasting a curvy profile as well as Sturdy Goodyear welting and grippy lugs–the boots are perfect for long nature walks or rugged outdoor adventures. The princess has owned the boots for over 20 years and first began wearing them in 2004.
Finally, the princess appears to have worn her Really Wild Lindsay Baker’s Boy tweed newsboy cap. She first donned the hat in 2013 for a visit to Great Tower Scout camp. She was recently spotted in the cap at Prince Louis’ football match on October 12, 2024 wearing her Barbour Edith coat along with the light green tweed hat.
