The Princess of Wales looked sophisticated and smart in a trouser suit for a visit to Suffolk and Kent textile mills on Thursday.

For the outing, the princess viewed fabrics and learned about screen printing while touring the mills.

During the visit, she wore a new suit from contemporary fashion label Bella Freud. Based in London, the founder Isobel Lucia Freud specializes in designing looks with 70s inspired tailoring and iconic statement pieces with quirky details and nostalgic graphics. Often adding pop psychology terms to her styles, Freud is the great-granddaughter of Austrian psychoanalyst and neurologist Sigmund Freud.

Wearing a new Bella Freud Earl jacket, Kate showed off her affinity for classic workwear. The princess donned the brand’s Earl jacket in Prince of Wales check. The slim fit blazer boasts flat pockets and a narrow lapel.

The princess paired the jacket with the coordinating School Boy Trousers.

For an undershirt, Kate opted for her Boden Eva Cashmere T-Shirt in black. The elbow sleeve shirt is spun from 100% cashmere and has a loosely fitted shape. (Similar long sleeve crewneck from Boden).

And for accessories, the princess wore her beloved and often repeated Anderson’s croc belt. She paired the waist cinching patent belt with her Daniella Draper Gold Diamond Cupid maxi hoops (similar) and Fixed Alphabet Necklace (similar).

She completed the look with a pair of throwback heels — her Stuart Weitzman Power pumps in black.
