The Duke and Duchess of Sussex battled snow and slush for a day in Bristol. Undeterred by the wet weather, the parents-to-be looked relaxed and ready for a day of cold temps and snowy skies as they made their way to various engagements including a stop at Bristol Old Vic Theatre and a visit to One25 Charity. Meghan and Harry even took time to meet with children from Abbeywood pre-school who stood out in the snow to shake hands and greet the Sussexes.
For the visit, Meghan decided to put a fresh spin on maternity wear with a flowy chiffon black woodland dress featuring a whimsical print. The Oscar de la Renta midi is one of a handful of botanical themed dresses from the designer–who currently offers a collection of lavish floral and forest print masterpieces.
Meghan looked especially sensational in this colorful bird and deer dress from Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2018 collection. The sheer sleeve chiffon dress was very flattering on Meghan’s pregnancy curves and the fierce flora and fauna print gave the duchess a ‘garden goddess’ vibe befitting her maternal status.
Meghan completed the look with Marina green suede boots by Sarah Flint, a coat from William Vintage, Pippa Small earrings and her Catbird Threadbare ring. In addition, Meghan carried a bespoke clutch by Ralph Lauren in olive green. Meghan’s look is available below.
And as a final note, Meghan’s feminine and romantic dress style was not lost on the prince who looked especially chivalrous in the cold. Indeed, Prince Harry looked quite protective of pregnant wife Meghan as the two wrapped up their busy day in Bristol.
