While the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex may seem to each have their own individual styles–with Kate often favoring vintage silhouettes and classic styles and Meghan opting for contemporary wares including crossbody bags and skyscraper stilettos–both ladies still love some of the same glam garments and even affordable retailers and high street shops. In fact, many of their fashion favorites have repeated and overlapped throughout their royal careers and pre-duchess days. From J.Crew accessories to Victoria Beckham bags and an equal affection for Smythe and Sentaler as well as Ralph Lauren and Roksanda–Kate and Meghan’s wardrobe has more in common than meets the eye.

Here are the styles that both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle love:

Le Chameau

Both the American actress and British beauty love their Le Chameau boots–perfect for rainy weather or Canadian snowfall, the comfy boots are made from European hides and are durable, flexible and water resistant.

Temperley London

The future Mrs. Prince Harry wore this Temperley London graphic tile lace dress for an event in September 2013. Kate wore a similar LBD with with chic cut-outs while battling morning sickness at the Action on Addiction gala dinner in East London in October 2014.

Mulberry

Both brunette 30-somethings love luxury fashion company Mulberry which was founded in the United Kingdom in 1971. Kate owns two Mulberry Bayswater clutches, a red Darley crossbody as well as a Seaton black bag and Polly Push blue lock satchel. The mom of three also carried an Amberley dark blush clutch while wearing a green Emilia Wickstead dress for a visit to a children’s centre in early 2019. Meghan owns a large Mulberry maple tote, a Clifton bag in clay, two Bayswater zipped totes and a shoulder bag in rosewater which she carried for a Nelson Mandela exhibit in a pink Nonie blush trench in the summer of 2018.

Casteñer

Both Kate and Meghan can’t resist an affordable and super cute espadrille sandal. The duchess duo are partial to Casteñer wedges with their fun lace-up detailing and summer-friendly canvas. Meghan owns the Casteñer Carina wedges in black featuring a three inch wedge heel and matching ankle ties. Kate covets the Carina 80 brown wedge sandals.

Massimo Dutti

As of late, both duchesses have been sporting Massimo Dutti clothing items. Meghan has worn a navy blue wool coat by the brand as well as a toffee long wool coat with a belt and a complete ensemble from the Spanish clothing company for a visit to Canada House including a plain silk wool sweater and satin midi skirt. Just like her sister-in-law, Kate opted for a button cashmere camel coat from the Barcelona based brand for a recent engagement.

Sentaler

Both Kate and Meghan love to wrap up in Sentaler winterwear. The Duchess of Cambridge sported the ribbed sleeve coat while visiting the Yukon in Canada with Prince William. Meghan wore a camel colored coat by the brand for her first Christmas with the royal family.

Roksanda

A fit and flare ‘Athena’ dress with a colorblock design was a fashion victory for Archie’s mom while visiting a high school in Sydney. The design was not a far cry from Duchess Kate’s apparel affair with the same brand–the longtime royal wore a Roksanda sheath for a Queen’s lunch in 2016 where she greeted crowds during a street party.

J.Crew

Both Kate and Meghan love a good striped top from American retailer J.Crew. Meghan wore this ivory and navy striped boatneck while in Toronto on the way to yoga while Kate donned her JCrew tippi sweater in 2016.

Erdem

Both Kate and Meghan can’t resist a dramatic dress–Meghan wore her Erdem Ava night bird gown in Jamaica in 2017 while Kate hit a sartorial stride in a tiered Alouette printed silk floral gown in February 2016.
