The Princess of Wales honored veterans as she took part in a Service of Remembrance to mark Armistice Day. Laying a wreath during the solemn ceremony, the princess was at times teary-eyed while paying her respects at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
For the occasion, Princess Kate recycled her bespoke black Catherine Walker military midi coat featuring a stand-up collar and antique braided rows accented by tassels. Sartorially speaking, the military officer tailcoat pays homage to fallen heroes.
To show her respect, Kate wore a Jane Taylor Decima black felt hat. Crafted from luxurious felt and finished with a matching bow, the dome derby hat is charming and elegant.

For footwear, the princess wore her Gianvito Rossi black suede knee-high Glen boots.
And for accessories, the princess once again opted for her ruby and diamond drop earrings. The mysterious and unidentified earrings have been worn twice previously — for VE Day in May 2025 and again at the welcome ceremony for President Trump in September 2025.
The late Princess Diana was born July 1st and Prince George’s birthday is in the same month — July 22nd. Ruby is the birthstone of July.
The princess also wore her Irish Guards Regimental brooch.
She completed the look with her Cornelia James Alice bow adorned gloves — which she’s worn eight times previously.
