The Prince and Princess of Wales released their official portrait taken during the Nigerian state banquet last week.
Shot in Windsor, the photograph was snapped by Nigeria-born, London-based photographer Christianah Ebenezer and released on Thursday March 19th.
Glowing in green, Kate looked captivating in the new picture taken indoors against a leafy neutral backdrop.

Kate and William shared the new picture the day after the glamorous state dinner with a caption that read, “A special portrait taken ahead of yesterday evening’s Nigeria State Banquet 🇳🇬🇬🇧”
As has become customary for the Wales, the royal couple often release a new portrait of them posed together during prominent state visits.
Appearing in their best regal regalia including a tiara for the princess, the future King and Queen are often outfitted in their most formal attire.
Previously, the princess has worn the Lover’s Knot tiara on three out of four of the most recent state visits. However, for the German State Banquet in December 2025 she did wear a new headpiece — the Oriental Circlet Tiara.
