The family gathered together to congratulate Kate at the end of her long mountainside trek which she completed in under 24 hours.

In the new photographs, the princess is clad in a hiking outfit comprised of a light t-shirt, backpacking-friendly shorts and a dark blue baseball cap.

The princess also wore smart tech devices to monitor her progress, pace and other health markers. (She donned an Apple Watch and Rode Wireless Pro Microphone.)

At the finish line, she gave hugs to her children and shared a warm embrace with husband Prince William.

For the alpine adventure, Kate opted for a Fjallraven Abisko Wool Spring Tee in Dark Navy. A short sleeve shirt ideal for layering during long summits or difficult training, this versatile tee can be worn on and off the mountain.

The princess paired the athletic shirt with new North Face Summit Pacesetter 3 Shorts in Iron Clay.
