Princess of Wales

Following Queen Elizabeth II’s passing in September 2022, Kate inherited the title of Princess of Wales. As her father-in-law ascended to the throne, Kate and William were appointed Prince and Princess of Wales.

Duchess of Cambridge

The princess retains the title of Duchess of Cambridge which is her longest held title and the one she received upon marriage.

Duchess of Cornwall

In Northern Ireland, Kate also answers to the name Baroness of Renfrew.

Baroness Carrickfergus

Presented with this title upon marriage, Kate was given this appointment by the late Queen upon her marriage to William in 2011. Lady of the Isles

A historic Scottish title, William is Lord of the Isles while his wife carries the title Lady of the Isles. William holds the title as heir apparent to the British throne.
