The Duchess of Sussex shared an inspiring message on Instagram — she managed to help a young 15-year-old girl who lost her home in the wildfires in California get a  replacement for a precious Billie Eilish t-shirt that she owned which was destroyed in the aftermath of the natural disaster.

For the home video, Meghan donned a black sweatshirt from female-run business Club Chainstitch. The Chicago based company offers vintage stitching on modern apparel like hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts. The ethically made garments are embroidered on a vintage chainstitch machine and handmade in studio.

Meghan wore the slow fashion brand’s Adult Chainstitch sweater in black featuring a personalized ‘Archie and Lili’ (Meghan’s children’s names) embroidered onto the collar.

This isn’t the first embroidered sweater Meghan has worn — she also owns a similar embroidered pullover from New York based brand Lingua Franca. The crewneck was embroidered with a chainstitch technique and was featured in the ‘Harry and Meghan’ documentary on Netflix.
