Clad in a striking long orange patterned coat, the Princess of Wales looked smart and sophisticated as she visited textile manufacturers in her namesake country.

Supporting British manufacturing, Kate made a stop at Welsh weaving mill Melin Tregwynt and also tried her hand at sewing a pair of jeans for Prince William at Huit Denim in Cardigan. Later, she visited staff at a local hospice and met with volunteers in  Lampeter.

For the busy day of engagements, the princess debuted a new vintage coat from Dillad Dwyryd Cymru (ID Kate’s Closet) with a colorful geometric print. The mom of three was a style standout in the topper on the overcast day on the Pembrokeshire Coast.

For the outing, the princess wore a mesmerizing Welsh Wool tapestry coat which mimics the Welsh flag emblazoned with a red dragon and green and white fields. She opted for a brown and red multicolor vintage coat.

Kate paired the stylish coat with a N. Peal London rollneck ‘Luna’ cashmere sweater in Arabica khaki green.

The princess opted for a brand new pair of trousers — the ‘Alina’ Twill Wide Leg Pants  from Victoria Beckham in Oregano (green). Sleek and slimming, these structured pants have a high waist and flared leg for a well-proportioned silhouette. Elegant enough for day or night, the trousers are tailored from a lightweight blend of wool and polyester. Front and back patch pockets add a bit of retro charm.

The princess wore her Emmy London Josie block heel pumps in chocolate suede.

Ahead of Valentine’s Day, she finished the look with her Spells of Love teardrop garnet hoop earrings.
