Today, the Princess of Wales visited Leicester for a series of engagements related to the Hindu Holi Festival. She visited the East Midlands region a day after the Hindu spring festival.

Among other outings, she stopped at the city’s famous Golden Mile — a bustling area featuring South Asian vendors with jewelry, gold, Indian clothing and food shops.

She also tasted chai, visited a Hindu temple, watched Bollywood performers and viewed sari dresses in the local market.

Celebrating the British Indian community and culture, the princess was gifted a red rose garland necklace.

For the visit, the princess wore a new Ralph Lauren wool-blend maxi dress; the cream colored dress boasts a flowing sunburst-pleated skirt and a rib-knit sweater bodice crafted from a soft wool blend with a touch of stretch.

She paired the dress with her bespoke Chris Kerr ivory long wool coat.

She toted her Emmy London Natasha clutch in brown suede.

She finished the look with her Sezane Dina brass chandelier earrings in ocean blue.

She also wore her Gianvito Rossi 85 pumps in dark brown suede.
