The Duchess of Cambridge brought along little sister Pippa Middleton for a fun girls day out at Wimbledon today. The three ladies sat in the royal box together and shared whispers and giggles throughout the ladies tennis final.
Duchess Meghan cheered on good friend Serena Williams while Kate and Pippa enjoyed the summer sunshine. The Duchess of Cambridge arrived earlier than new mom Meghan as she was reporting for royal duty as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
And after the ladies reveled in their sporty sisterhood–the Duchess of Sussex departed the match with royal protection officers while Kate and Pippa stayed to watch the doubles finals.
Kate and Pippa enjoyed the ladies double final together after Meghan’s departure.
For the outing, Kate recycled her Dolce and Gabbana green midi dress which she first wore during the Royal Tour Canada in 2016. The emerald midi is keeping with Catherine’s love of retro styles with a throwback to the 1940s day dress with a nipped waist, puff sleeves and gold buttons. Shop a similar style.
The Duchess of Sussex opted for a Hugo Boss printed Georgette midi skirt which was reminiscent of a few styles she has worn in the past.
Meghan loves to pair colorblock skirts with simple tops like sweaters, tanks and button down shirts. The duchess is a style savant when it comes to mixing menswear and feminine pieces into chic and classic fashion statements.
In addition, she carried a new $700 handbag called the ‘Grace’ by British designer Stella McCartney. The white faux embossed bag features a chain link strap and is the perfect mini bag for daytime engagements. Find a similar style for less.
The exchanges between the ladies looked very friendly thus finally dispelling any rumors of rifts or feuding. All three women looked happy to be in each other’s company and likely discussed managing motherhood as Pippa too recently gave birth to her first son.
