While the Princess of Wales has heaps of blinged out ballgowns, piles of extravagant evening wear and plenty of costly coatdresses, she’s also curated a closet full of cardigans. Yes, the princess loves a casual knitted sweater for off-duty daywear.
In her pre-Windsor wife days, Kate would often be spotted in cropped black cardigans, bootcut jeans and shoulder handbags on shopping trips and errands. Collegiate Cate loved a simple basic black cardi with a short length. Perfect for layering, a soft and fitted cardigan works as both a cover-up and stylish sweater.
The British beauty was so enamored of cardigan styles that she continues to add them to her royal rotation. Often wearing a boucle or scalloped cardi top for Zoom meetings, holiday celebrations and casual appearances, Kate is not shy to show off her love affair with a versatile button-front cool-girl cardigan.
