The Princess of Wales attended Remembrance Sunday today. The Wales matriarch appeared on a a balcony at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) alongside Duchess Sophie Wessex at the Cenotaph memorial in London.
The princess has been in attendance at the National Service of Remembrance on 14 consecutive occasions since her debut in 2011.
For the ceremony, the princess upcycled a black Catherine Walker coat seen on two previous outings. She made multiple modifications to the coat to devise a new look.
The princess previously wore the revised coat on November 8th 2020 for Remembrance Sunday. Later, she had the tassels removed and recycled the topper for a visit to the Army Training Centre Pirbright in September 2022. Today, she added a new velvet bow embellishment and swapped out the mother-of-pearl buttons for covered black buttons.
In addition, the princess wore a new Juliette Botterill veil embellished cocktail hat in black. The teardrop hat is trimmed with patent faux leather flowers and cut feathers.
She wore her black Cornelia James ‘Alice‘ Merino Wool Gloves. She’s accrued a large collection of the bow trimmed gloves over the years.
For accessories, she donned the Queen’s Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings.
The mother of three also wore the Queen’s Dragoon Guards Brooch which she worn on one previous occasion to the Festival of Remembrance in 2023.
Finally, the princess carried her Mulberry Bayswater black suede clutch.
She has carried the ultra slim clutch on over 30 occasions since she first stepped out with the bag in November 2013.
