The Princess of Wales looked resplendent in her regal fashions for VE Day Celebrations.

Joining the rest of the royal family at Westminster Abbey for a Service of Thanksgiving, Kate was polished and poised in her retro-styled white Alessandra Rich white polka midi dress.

Delicate and demure, the bespoke design was last seen on the royal for Order of the Garter in the summer of 2023. Featuring a gathered waist, and high neckline, the 1940s era midi felt especially appropriate for the occasion.

The princess paired the elegant dress with a black floral fascinator from Juliette Botterill. Adding a hint of whimsical charm and smart sophistication, the teardrop hat with its striking mourning veil emphasized the sacrifices of the Second World War generation.

Interestingly, Kate opted for contrasting brown accessories rather than a black shoes and handbag. She selected her camel colored Nano bag from DeMellier London along with calfskin pumps in brown from Ralph Lauren.

Perhaps a way to add contrast to the polka ensemble, the toffee colored accessories made the look feel lighter and more modern.

The princess finished the nostalgic ensemble with Princess Diana’s Collingwood pearl drop earrings.

For the VE Day 80th Anniversary Concert, Kate opted to wear a recycled blazer dress.

Princess Kate and Prince William joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla for a musical evening at the Horse Guards Parade.

Opting for another retro take, Kate was beautiful in a frilly lace number from the London based brand Self-Portrait.

Looking chic in her beloved blazer dress in cream, which exuded elegant femininity, Kate’s retro and romantic styling was captivating and charming.

The princess opted to rewear her Self-Portrait Tailored Boucle And Chiffon Midi Dress and paired the elegant cocktail dress with a five strand pearl necklace and earrings from vintage accessories curator Susan Caplan.

In fact, Kate paid more homage to the past with her cluster pearl clip-ons from the jewelry brand.

Selling timeless pieces which offer a dose of  glamour–the princess selected the brand’s Vintage Renaissance Revival Pearl Earrings.

She paired the faux statement pearls with the Susan Caplan rhodium-plated 5 row pearl strand necklace.

In addition, Kate donned her Chanel mini flap bag calling to mind a luxurious Parisian aesthetic.

Further making the outfit feel from a bygone era, she added a charming hair bow to elevate the timelessness of the outfit and make the look feel especially ladylike and whimsical.

Finally, the princess finished the concert style with her Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in bisque suede.
