The Princess of Wales recently made headlines when she opted out of attending Royal Ascot following a series of high profile engagements at Trooping the Color and Order of the Garter.
Though it’s unclear if it was an administrative error or a medical absence that caused her scheduled appearance to be retracted, the future Queen is still scheduled to take part in a few upcoming engagements before the royals summer break.
Indeed, it’s being reported that Princess Kate will most likely make an outing at Wimbledon sometime over the course of the tournament during the days of June 30 to July 13th. Previously, the princess has attended multiple finals matches during the two-week tennis competition.

In addition, the princess is reportedly planning to take part in the French State Visit in early July. She’s expected to play a “significant” part in the formal event including confirmation she will have a role in the meet and greet for President Macron on July 8th.
There has been no official word on whether Kate will attend the white-tie state banquet during the visit wherein she typically dresses in a luxurious designer gown and heirloom tiara.
While Kate’s Ascot absence may have garnered attention, the princess has not been off duty entirely.
She recently shared a personal message for Children’s Hospice Week on June 20th and has attended private meetings according to the Court Circular.
The Prince and Princess of Wales met with Melinda Gates at Windsor Castle in relation to their Royal Foundation on June 25th.
