The Duchess of Sussex is returning to the big screen with a new cameo role in the Amazon MGM comedy “Close Personal Friends.”
Starring alongside Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding, the mom of two is back to her acting roots with the new comedic role and will play herself in the upcoming film.
Previously having starred on Suits as paralegal Rachel Zane, the fun new character will give Meghan the opportunity to explore the idea of returning to acting on a regular basis; the duchess can explore the prospect of taking on additional film or television roles in the future.
In addition to Meghan’s theatrical return, the duchess also recently launched a new As Ever pop-up store at Godmothers bookstore in Summerland, California.
The pop-up store is the first brick-and-mortar retail location to feature Meghan’s As Ever products. Inside the farmhouse-style space, the duchess was seen artfully arranging her jams, mulled spice kits and decorative candles.
For the staging, Meghan wore a denim button-down shirt and dark blue jeans. It’s likely the jeans are the duchess’ mid-rise premium ‘Stir’ jeans from New York City based brand AYR (All Year Round). The casual cotton boyfriend shirt remains unidentified. It’s presumed Meghan’s loafers are her Veronica Beard Penny brown loafers which are designed from ultra-soft luxe suede.
And the duchess’ new store was perfectly timed with the announcement of Oprah’s Favorite Things list for 2025 which features Meghan’s As Ever Signature Fruit Spread kit. The former talk show host endorsed Meghan’s colorful gift set of marmalade, raspberry and strawberry spread.
