The Duchess of Sussex visited Jordan along with husband Prince Harry on a two-day visit in partnership with the World Health Organization to learn more about the humanitarian health response, mental health and support for vulnerable communities affected by conflict in Syria, Gaza and the wider region. The couple were in the Middle East on Wednesday February 25th and Thursday February 26th. 

The Sussexes attended a World Health Organization roundtable with key donors and humanitarian partners in Amman, Jordan on Wednesday.

Following a meeting at the WHO headquarters, Meghan and Harry visited QuestScope Youth Center at the Za’atari refugee camp, home to displaced Syrians, near Mafraq in northern Jordan.

Later, the Sussexes spoke with medical staff as they met Maria, a 14 year old burn victim from Gaza, during a visit to a specialty hospital in Amman, Jordan. The couple also spent time with other patients receiving urgent care treatment.

For their one outing on Thursday, Meghan and Harry made a visit to the National Centre for Rehabilitation of Addicts (NCRA), and accompanied a World Health Organization delegation in Amman.
