The Princess of Wales is the Queen of the turtleneck. Worn since her days living in London as a bachelorette, she’s often drawn to slim fit and cozy roll neck sweaters in the late fall months.
One particular jumper favorite is her Hobbs Lara Merino Wool Roll Neck sweater. Designed as the perfect layering piece, this soft fine gauge knit pullover can be worn with plaid schoolgirl skirts, workwear trousers or paired with high-wasted jeans and a skinny belt for an ultra trendy look.
Featuring a gold tone button cuff detail plus ribbed trims, the modern turtleneck works as a foundation piece in any contemporary wardrobe. Ideal for a capsule collection, the sleek turtleneck can be incorporated into various dressy or daytime ensembles.
Princess Kate is so enamored with the flattering turtleneck that she owns the style in two colors including granita pink and navy.
The navy and pink styles are both currently on sale.
The princess wore the pink version first to visit Nower Hill High School on November 24, 2021 in the London Borough of Harrow. She paired the colorful granita pink sweater with a Hobbs London Tilda coat in fuchsia.
Later, she stepped out in January 2022 in the identical pullover but in a dark blue navy. She wore the ‘Lara’ turtleneck at the Foundling Museum alongside husband Prince William coupled with Jigsaw high-waisted sport luxe trousers.
Currently, the sweater is newly available in shades black, hawthorn green and a deep purple malbec hue.
