For the second time in two days, the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in ballgowns for evening engagements. While Prince Charles’ birthday was a glamorous affair, the duchesses didn’t stop their party train at the palace and continued on their chic streaks with a private dinner at Victoria House the following day. Harry and Meghan along with William and Kate had an unofficial ‘Fab Four’ double date for the Royal Foundation Dinner.

The Duchess of Cambridge once again recycled a wardrobe gem–with a bright red Preen dress that she previously wore to a reception in Victoria, Canada in 2016.  The duchess posed with musical guest Tom Walker, Anita Rani and her husband Prince William for a group photo.

The structured midi dress is similar to a red cocktail dress worn by Princess Diana. Kate paired the Finella crepe dress with a Casa clutch by Jenny Packham. Kate not only owns the dress in red but also has the full skirt number in black. The dress is sill available for purchase in teal and black. Shop a budget-friendly red holiday party dress.

The Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t the only glamazon of the evening. In fact, the Duchess of Sussex wore a very bouncy ballgown reminiscent of her jaw-dropping Oscar de la Renta bird embellished dress on the recent Australian tour.

The voluminous style was also compared to a Princess Diana dress.

But Suits fans were quick to point out that the Aldrich dress from the Resort 2017 Collection was very similar to a style Meghan had donned as the character Rachel Zane. The dress creates a flattering silhouette with a large full skirt and features a woven finish with striped Lurex and a strapless bodice supported with internal boning.
