The Duchess of Cambridge recycled her bespoke Alexander McQueen dress coat for a special occasion in Birkenhead this afternoon. Both Kate and William attended the naming ceremony of the U.K.’s new polar research ship, the RRS Sir David Attenborough. Many well-wishers from the public turned out to catch a glimpse of the duke and duchess.
For this occasion, Kate opted to bring back an old favorite–her bespoke Alexander McQueen cornflower blue dress coat. The mom of three has worn the stylish number on at least four different occasions–starting in 2014 in New Zealand. Today, Kate likely recycled the thematically-appropriate outfit to match the maritime event.
The duchess typically pairs the stunning coat with navy accessories and shoes and today’s outing was no exception. Kate carried a pochette from beloved brand Asprey London. The ‘1781 Pochette in Blueberry Bullskin’ perfectly coordinated with her block heel pumps.
It appears Kate may have also taken an unidentified tote bag with her to the Cammell Laird shipyard in Merseyside.
For shoes, the duchess wore Emmy London ‘Josie’ Navy Block Heel Pointed Pumps.
She finished the look with Mappin & Webb Empress Earrings.
